When I browse the phpMyvisites directory, I get a message error 500 "Internal Server Error. The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request".

Your Web hosting provider does not allow file permissions that are too high. Set permissions 644 (CHMOD 644 with your ftp client) for the index.php file of the directory for which you encounter the problem.
